Awara Panama was started by the dream of two Panamanian sisters with a profound love for coffee.

Inspired by the desire to deepen our connection with each other we decided to work together on this venture. Taking a car a traveling around we found this amazing estate nestled in the mountain chain of Panama and accesible only with a 4x4 (when it's not raining) and by horse (during rainy season), bordered by a beautiful stream of crystal clear water and luscious tropical forest. When we met the owner and the workers, we fell in love with the place and we decided to go for it. 

We aim to share the unique flavors of Panamanian coffee with the German people. We asked ourselves: why not? And we embarked in this adventure full of nature, families, and a deeper understanding of where our product comes from. 
This has been a transformative experience bringing together countries and processes. All the way from picking the best grains to delivering it to your cup.
